Lacquer or Lakh or Lac is a shiny coating made from the shellac resin excreted by the female Lac bug in the forests of India & Thailand. These mirror on Lac t-light holders are inspired by the Sheesh Mahals of Mughal & Rajput palaces. Not just a stylishly traditional addition to truly festive looking interiors but a purchase that provides patronage to a dying art form. Traditional Indian lacquer work is typically divided into Abri (cloud), Atishi (fireworks) & Nakkashi (pattern), & at Ekobae we constantly encourage the artisans to innovate & contemporize their creations besides preserving skills passed down through generations.
These exquisite T-Light Holders are sure to glam up all your festive occasions, besides being a statement of your own good-taste.
An Ekobae Special.

Care Instructions

All of Ekobae's products are handmade using natural fibres. Variations in colour, texture, finish & dimensions are intrinsic to them. We use both vegetable dyes and commercial dyes with the goal of minimizing our impact on the environment. An irregular weave or print is not a defect.
We have also done our best to display as accurately as possible the colours of the products shown here. However, the colours you see will depend on your monitor, which may look slightly different when you receive the product.
In fabric based products reds & blues tend to run. Please always wash like colours together and dry inside out in the shade. Silks must only be dry cleaned. We also recommend spot cleaning if there is a mark rather than washing the whole garment. Hanging your clothes in fresh air is a great way to freshen them up instead of washing and kinder to the environment.
